About Excelsior Hotel

One of the nearest hotels to the old city, the Excelsior is a superb five star property offering international standards of service and luxury; part of the Adriatic Luxury Hotels Group. It was originally built in 1913 and has been extensively renovated and refurbished to very high standards. There are fantastic views to the old town of Dubrovnik, the island of Lokrum and the open Adriatic in between. Open all year.

139 spacious hotel rooms, a mixture of Classic, Superior & Deluxe most with sea view (most of these also have a balcony) as well as 19 well-appointed suites shared across the original 1913 section of the hotel and the more modern addition, The Tower.

All rooms are luxuriously furnished with modern amenities including air conditioning, minibar, safety deposit box, free wifi, satellite TV, bathrobes & slippers.

There is a good choice of dining at the hotel: the Sensus Restaurant has a magnificent setting with views of the sea and the Old Town & is renowned for modern interpretations of Mediterranean classics; Restaurant Salin is the main restaurant where breakfast is served;  Akabus Piano Bar serves light snacks and a selection of drinks and cocktails; Prora beach restaurant serves lunch and romantic dinners. 

The hotel's luxury spa is a haven of peace and pampering. Make use of the indoor pool, Jacuzzi whirlpools, Turkish or Roman baths and Finnish sauna. The spa team offers body treatments, massages and aromatherapy.

The sea in front of the hotel is just beautiful (and very inviting), there is access to the main Dubrovnik beach just a short walk along the terrace as well as plenty of shade and solitude in the beautiful gardens.
