Hotel Saudade represents a stylish blend of contemporary comfort, excellent service and Mediterranean experience. Situated in the picturesque town of Gradac, next to the main beach and not far from the centre (a short walk along the beach promenade), we believe it is a great option for guests searching an active holiday.

The hotel is built in Mediterranean style with just 28 rooms in a unique location with the beach directly in front of the hotel and additionally situated on the sunny side of the bay surrounded by pine trees with views to the beautiful Peljesac peninsula, Hvar and Brac islands and the peaks of the Biokovo mountains. It is approximately equidistant from Split and Dubrovnik.

According to the hotel owner's "Saudade is a word that comes from the Portuguese language and culture, a word that tries to describe the unique feeling of positive energy, a word that is impossible to translate into any other language. The most similar words are: nostalgia, longing."

Accommodation

Spacious rooms decorated using natural materials, all have balcony and sea view. There are a total of 28 comfortable rooms over 5 floors (10 standard, 16 premium, 2 Panorama Suites). All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, mini bar, LCD flat screen satellite TV, direct dial phone, internet plug, safe and international outlets of 220V. The bathroom has bathtub and hair dryer. 

  • Standard rooms: standard rooms are situated at the sides of the hotel offering side sea view from the balconies. The room type is available in double or twin bed configuration with sofa bed, indoor sitting chairs and an outdoor set furniture on the balcony.
  • Premium rooms: larger than standard rooms and are situated at the front of the hotel with balconies that offer a direct sea view.
  • Suites: these are on the top floor and offer lovely views as well as privacy. Suites have the option to connect to a standard room with separate entrance for the larger family. Panorama Suites consist of the master bedroom, bright and spacious living room with sofa bed and spacious bathroom. 2 - 4 persons.

Nearby attractions

Hotel Saudade is situated in the town of Gradac, which recently celebrated 100 years of tourism development and is a famous spot on the Makarska Riviera. Nearby are numerous attractions  such as the Biokovo National Park, Hvar and Korcula Islands, Cetina Canyon(rafting) and Neretva Valley & Baćinska Lakes. From Gradac there are daily excursions to Dubrovnik, Split, Mostar and Medjugorje.
