The Degenija has 20 rooms which are tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Each room is equipped with air conditioning/heating, bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer, toiletries, slippers, LCD/satellite TV, work desk, mini bar, electric kettle, safe deposit, telephone and free wifi. Some rooms also have a terrace.

The room types in the main hotel are listed below. There is also The Annex House located just next to the hotel (15 metres) - there are 4 rooms on the first floor with private entrance. Each room has a balcony and is equipped with bathroom with shower.  All hotel services are also available if you are staying in the annex.

• Superior double room - as above with sofa and the possibility of up to 2 additional people.

• Family room - as above with a terrace of 8m2 and the possibility of up to 2 additional people.

• Superior suite - the suite consists of a spacious living room and bedroom with double bed, Equipped with a double bed, sofa bed, air conditioning, 2 satellite LCD TV (32''or 82 cm, WLAN, desk, minibar, safe, telephone, toilet (bathroom), bathroom with tub and hair dryer.

Reception, wifi, breakfast room, swimming pool, café bar, parking, restaurant with terrace enjoying panoramic views of surrounding villages and forest-covered hills. Specialities generally include meat, characteristic of this area, as well as grilled dishes, pasta, cakes and pastries. Throughout the summer (or with a reservation) the hotel prepares traditional local specialties like veal & potatoes under the cooking “bell” (PEKA) or spit-roasted lamb and pork.

At the cafe-bar you can enjoy a coffee or watch the sunset with your favourite cocktail. A wide selection of fine wines, champagnes and a selection of cocktails are also available.

The swimming pool is on a sunny hill right next to the hotel and is the perfect spot to relax. Sun loungers, tables & sun umbrellas surround the pool and bar service is available all day. [Pool size: 13 x 6.5 meters / pool is heated].

If you are planning to visit the Plitvice National Park and enjoy the charm of the countryside, Degenija Hotel is a perfect place to stay overnight. Baraćeve spilje (the Barać Caves) are only 10 km away and Rastoke, a village with water-mills, is 20 km away. We also recommend a tour to the beautiful town of Bihać in neighbouring Bosnia Herzegovina (30 km). Plitvice lakes and Rakovica are great for active holidays: hire a bike and explore the magnificent countryside on marked bike trails, take a walking tour or have a swim in the Korana river (400m away). Winter specials are sledging and skiing at the Mukinje ski-resort, 6 km away.
