Hotel Plitvice was constructed in the period from 1954 to 1957 by renowned Croatian architect, Marijan Haberle. At the time of its construction, it was the first A category hotel in Croatia and beyond, and it is today considered one of the best architectural designs among public buildings of the post-war period in Croatian architecture. This architectural gem has been included in the protected cultural heritage list of the Republic of Croatia.
The hotel offers 52 rooms: standard double rooms with park or lake view, superior rooms (maximum 3 persons) with park or lake view (the latter have balcony), Premium double room with park view and Junior Suite with lake view (some have balcony). All rooms are equipped with satellite television, wifi, safety deposit box,direct dial telephone and minibar.
The a la carte restaurant puts an emphasis on local dishes, lobby bar with outdoor terrace, TV lounge, reception desk, souvenir shop.
