Croatia is the country of a thousand islands, rich history, Mediterranean vegetation and mild climate and one of the best ways to explore it is by bicycle.
This cycling tour starts in Split with an orientation and some sightseeing. You then have two full days to cyle through some beautiful countryside on the islands of Hvar and Korcula. After the islands you can enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery on the mainland along the Peljesac peninsula and in the Konavle countryside. Sightseeing in the lovely town of Ston and Dubrovnik is also included.
During your 6 full days you will have the opportunity to explore these incredibly beautiful islands, mediaeval towns, old villages and lovely bays of Croatia.

Important note on bikes: Cube / Cannodale or similar brand, hybrid bikes, come equipped with: tool bag, lock, spare tyre, repair kit, pump, rack for the panniers, helmet.
Weather: Summers are typically warm and sunny. From May to October temperatures are comfortable for hiking, paddling, and swimming. Rain is always a possibility in Croatia so it is essential to bring adequate rain wear and a jacket in case of inclement weather.
Accommodation: B&B (hotels and small family guesthouses), all accommodations include private bathroom and daily breakfast.

Itinerary
After breakfast take a morning ferry to Hvar island (port of Starigrad) - timetables will be provided in your document package.
Cycle ride along the coast from the port into the town of Starigrad and along the Agar valley, continue to Selca, Velo Grablje and Brusje on the old road to Hvar Town.
Check out from your accommodation in Hvar after breakfast and depart on private boat transfer (water taxi) to Vela Luka on Korcula (45 mins). Cycle ride today is from Vela Luka across Korcula island to Korcula town and Lumbarda.
After breakfast cycle to ferry port for the short crossing to Orebic town on the Peljesac peninsula. Cycle ride along the incredible peninsula towards the small town of Ston.
Morning shuttle to Konavle district, a truly rural area of farming & winemaking between Dubrovnik and the border with Montenegro border. Cycle in the valley, through stone villages and by picturesque farms.
