A highly recommend private journey with one of our excellent English-speaking drivers which explories the Imperial Cities of Morocco. Starting in Casablanca you will visit Rabat, Meknes, Fez & Marrakech as well as enjoying the incredible scenery of the Rif and Atlas Mountains in-between. The wide-open vistas of places along the way such as Chefchaouen, ancient Volubilis and the incredible waterfalls at Ouzoud blend well with the hustle and bustle of the labyrinthine souks in the historic cities.

We have great pleasure to offer you the opportunity to experience Morocco accompanied by one of our excellent team of English-speaking drivers.
Travelling with one of our friendly English-speaking drivers allows you to experience much more of the country and its people. Your driver will gladly discuss both your daily schedule and general matters about Morocco and the places you pass; he can arrange local guides or co-ordinate any itinerary of pre-booked sightseeing that we arrange with you beforehand. In addition to your driver's experience and knowledge during your holiday we have also driven extensively around Morocco and will be happy to share our experiences with you if you are at all unsure about your chosen route or any aspect of travelling with one of our drivers.
Important Information
Your driver will have a comfortable 4WD vehicle and their daily rate includes their food, accommodation, fuel and road tolls. This also includes expenses to meet you at your starting point in Casablanca as our drivers are based in Marrakech.
We can easily arrange for this holiday to start and finish in Marrakech or equally to start and finish in Casablanca without increasing the duration if this is more convenient.
City Tours include an English-speaking guide, all transport and entry fees to historic monuments; followed by an exploration of the souks and focal points of the medinas.
Flights available to book with us through a range of airlines, from various UK airports either out to Casablanca (or Rabat) and home from Marrakech or vice versa. Travelling to/from the same airport in Morocco would usually mean adding an extra night at the departure location. If we book your flights this means that your holiday will also be fully ATOL protected.
Prices shown are a guideline "from" (in UK Pounds) and are based on a travelling party of at least 2 adults. Single supplements may need to be applied to the twin/double price and discounts for children (under 12yrs) and/or a 3rd adult sharing a room are available upon request. Quoted prices for individual enquiries will depend upon your chosen accommodation, room availability and dates of travel. We always aim to match a high quality experience with exceptional value for money. Discounts will apply if there are 3 or more people in your travelling party as fixed costs such as transportation and guides will be shared equally between the group.

Itinerary
Meet up with your English-speaking driver at your hotel and make a brief visit to the incredible Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Visit the capital of Morocco, Rabat, including the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of the Kings. Afterwards, head inland to the ancient Roman site of Volubilis to wander around at the perfect time, once the groups have left for the day.
Visit Moulay Idriss and the wonderful site of Volubilis first thing before the crowds (in case you had run out of time on previous day) and then drive north further into the Rif Mountains. An optional detour is available to visit the ancient site of Lixus prior to arriving in Chefchaouen.
Day 4 - visit of Chefchaouen and return south via a choice of routes to Fez.
Day 5 - a full day sightseeing in Fez (souks, palaces, medersas and forts); don't miss the many opportunities to look down over the medina in Fez, such as at Borj du Sud (*a private half day guided tour of Fez is included).
Day 6 - during your extra day in Fez we suggest a visit of nearby Meknes and its incredible historic sights or perhaps a drive east to head off the tourist trail.
Day 7 - a short drive to visit Meknes (if not done on previous day) prior to heading south en route to Marrakech through the peaceful Mid Atlas Mountains; don't miss the Barbary Apes in the Cedar Forest near Azrou. An ideal place to stay would be near the Cascades d'Ouzoud.
Day 8 - visit and walk around the waterfalls in the morning; balance of day for optional visits to the natural rock arch at Imi n'Ifri and the Berber market town of Demnate. Onward drive down to Marrakech towards the end of the day.
Day 9 - a full day sightseeing in Marrakech to visit the souks, historic monuments, gardens, palaces, Djemma el Fna and much more (*a private half day guided tour of Marrakech is included).
Day 10 - If you keep the services of your driver for an extra day then you could visit the High Atlas or the coast at Essaouira. Alternatively, these places can be visited on an excursion arranged through one of our local representatives, which could also include a guided day hike or another activity such as a cookery class or a quad bike adventure in the Palmeraie.
