A quite unique "Top to Bottom" journey along Morocco's incredibly beautiful Atlantic coast with one of our friendly, professional, English-speaking drivers. Your route travels south from Tangier in the north to Agadir in the south, passing through Asilah, Rabat, Casablanca, El Jadida & Essaouira with the opportunity to detour inland at any time, such as to Marrakech. Once in Agadir, you may also like to travel even further south to the undiscovered coastline of Mirleft and Sidi ifni for a couple of days.
We have many years of experience putting together practical and interesting journeys for our customers and we recommend this route to make the most of your time in this fascinating country. We have great pleasure to offer you the opportunity to experience Morocco accompanied by one of our excellent team of English-speaking drivers.
Travelling with one of our friendly English-speaking drivers allows you to experience much more of the country and its people. Your driver will gladly discuss both your daily schedule and general matters about Morocco and the places you pass; he can arrange local guides or co-ordinate any itinerary of pre-booked sightseeing that we arrange with you beforehand. In addition to your driver's experience and knowledge during your holiday we have also driven extensively around Morocco and will be happy to share our experiences with you if you are at all unsure about your chosen route or any aspect of travelling with one of our drivers.
Important Information
Your driver will have a comfortable 4WD vehicle and their daily rate includes their food, accommodation, fuel and road tolls. This also includes expenses to meet you at your starting point in Tangier as our drivers are based in Marrakech.
City Tours include an English-speaking guide, all transport and entry fees to historic monuments; followed by an exploration of the souks and focal points of the medinas.
Flights available to book with us through a range of airlines, from various UK airports either out to Tangier and home from Agadir or vice versa. Travelling to/from the same airport in Morocco would usually mean adding an extra night at the departure location. If we book your flights this means that your holiday will also be fully ATOL protected.
Prices shown are a guideline "from" (in UK Pounds) and are based on a travelling party of at least 2 adults. Single supplements may need to be applied to the twin/double price and discounts for children (under 12yrs) and/or a 3rd adult sharing a room are available upon request. Quoted prices for individual enquiries will depend upon your chosen accommodation, room availability and dates of travel. We always aim to match a high quality experience with exceptional value for money. Discounts will apply if there are 3 or more people in your travelling party as fixed costs such as transportation and guides will be shared equally between the group.

Itinerary
Day 1 - arrival into Tangier by ferry or plane; a private transfer directly to your hotel. Balance of day to explore Tangier on foot.
Day 2 - meet up with your English-speaking driver at your hotel. A full day tour of Tangier and the surrounding coastline, including Caves of Hercules and Cap Spartel.
Day 3 - visit of the lovely seaside town of Asilah with a possible detour inland to the ancient site of Lixus en route to Rabat. Time to explore the capital of Morocco on foot.
Day 4 - a Free day to explore Rabat's sights including the Hassan Tower, Royal Palace, Kasbah and Chellah Necropolis. You may also like to visit the nearby town of Sale across the Bou Regreg river.
Continue along the coast to Casablanca for a morning visit to the Hassan II Mosque before heading south to El Jadida. Visit of El Jadida, including the famous underground cisterns and historic harbour.
Continue south to to the fishing port and seaside town of Safi with free time for lunch. Afterwards, continue alongside the sardine factories briefly before emerging on to a seldom-used but stunning coastal road all the way to Essaouira.
Relax in Essaouira; an easy town to explore on foot. Why not indulge in a fresh fish BBQ lunch at the harbour then explore the sea-facing battlements and craft shops afterwards. You may also like to spend time on the huge beach, play golf or enjoy some surfing. You may like to use one of the days for a detour inland to Marrakech on one day.
Drive down the spectacular coast road, ever southwards, passing many small villages and famous surfing beaches before reaching Agadir. Along the way we recommend a short detour inland to visit the waterfalls at Imouzzer.
After a brief visit of Agadir, we recommend you drive south to Tiznit, continue to Aglou Plage and then travel along this wonderfully unspoilt section of coastline to Mirleft for a couple of nights. An alternative place to stay would be Sidi Ifni; however, you may elect to remain in Agadir to visit Taroudannt and the Souss Massa Nature Park.
In the Mirleft area you can visit many beaches, partake in activities arranged locally such as para-gliding and also visit the unique ex-Spanish town of Sidi Ifni.
This is the final scheduled day of this itinerary but you could elect to stay longer at Mirleft or travel even further south to Tan Tan Plage or return to Agadir. Depeneding upon your flight time or onward arrangements you could also spend an extra night in Tiznit or Taroudannt which are both relatively close to Agadir Airport.
Drop off car and driver at Agadir Airport for flight home.
