Marrakech nestles beneath Morocco's High Atlas Mountains and ranks as one of the top places to visit in Morocco. It's perfect for a city break, being a mere 3.5 hours from much of the UK. You'll certainly not find a shortage of places to visit or things to do during your stay here and to help you get your bearings we include a private half day guided tour of the city.

Any tour of the city will include the medina & souks where you can find foodstuffs, fabrics and handicrafts, your tour also includes the Ben-Youssef Medersa, a Koranic school which, in the past, took in hundreds of students in a setting favourable for uplifting the soul; towards the end you'll also visit the iconic Djemma el Fna, Marrakech's main square, in the shadow of the Koutoubia Mosque. You will no doubt wish to return under your own steam to enter into the labyrinthine souk for some serious bargaining (make sure you leave some room in your suitcase for your purchases!). In the evening the Djemma el Fna changes quite dramatically and comes alive with a plethora of al fresco dining stalls such as those selling spicy sausages, fresh fish and chips, traditional Harira soup and even snails, all washed down with plenty of sweet mint tea of course. All the time you will be surrounded by acrobats, snake charmers, fortune tellers and entertainers of all kinds. If you prefer a top-notch restaurant or a lively nightclub, Marrakech can offer that as well.

Should you wish to recharge your batteries the Marjorelle Gardens houses a collection of plants from the four corners of the earth flourishing among elegant ornamental lakes and an Art Deco villa. You may leave this enchanted spot in one of the many horse drawn carriages available in the city and take a trip to the Palmeraie; from there, continue to the Menara Gardens, one of Marrakesh's symbolic places - this elegant building is surrounded by an immense ornamental lake.

Day 1 - Arrive into Marrakech; private transfer directly to your accommodation.
