Split is situated on a peninsula, surrounded by historic towns and settlements. Today you'll take a walk through the 4th century Diocletian's Palace to visit its ancient Cellars, Peristyle, Roman temples (Christian ones nowadays), Cathedral and Baptistry, and then the famous Golden Gate. After your sightseeing tour and free time you will head off by bus to Trogir, a small town, protected by UNESCO.
